Near the pool is a balé—a relaxation pavilion that overlooks the river where it tumbles over a small cascade. This is a great spot for bird watching, and the beautifully iridescent Javan kingfisher with its distinctive red beak is a common sight.

“Blissful”

Vila Pangi Gita exceeded our expectations. Beautiful villa, lush gardens, wonderful staff who have been at the villa for years - with a special mention to the chef (Bagus) who prepared traditional Balinese and Indonesian food so delicious that we didn't leave the villa for dinner once. Excellent location too: within walking distance to shops, cafes and the beach but also to quieter areas and rice paddies. The villa's driver (Dwi) took us on day trips to see temples and gardens - he was so generous with his time and shared so much interesting information about his country. The villa itself was immaculate. We loved the outdoor bathrooms, the traditional architecture, the private pool and comfortable king size beds. But mostly we loved the Villa staff who made our stay so special. Thank you to everyone at Villa Pangi Gita !
