PERERENAN BEACH

G O S U R F I N G

Tucked between Echo Beach and Seseh Beach, Pererenan Beach is known for its dark sand and scenic views. It’s not good for swimming, but has an exposed beach and a river mouth that is among Canggu’s best surf spots, with a barrelling right-hander and performance walls at high tide.

SANGEH MONKEY FOREST

The dark, mysterious Sangeh Monkey Forest (22km from the villa) is home to about 700 long-tailed macaques and towering “Palahlar” trees. It’s believed the jungle is more than three centuries old. There are also four temples here, including the moss-covered Pura Bukit Sari in the heart of the forest.
